Overview

Bayahibe is a resort town on the Caribbean coast of the Dominican Republic. It is known for its sandy beaches and diving sites. The Bayahibe public beach has a boat launch point. Dominicus Beach is a long stretch of sand and coral reef. To the east, the main section of Eastern National Park is filled with caves, some with ancient rock art. Saona Island has beaches and reefs with diverse marine fauna.
